My top 3 if I had a vote
1. Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M.
Johnny Football's star performance against the Crimson Tide made him a front runner in this years Heisman race and will likely be the first freshman to ever win the award since it started 78 years ago. Manziel set an SEC record with 4,600 total yards, and led the Aggies to their first 10 win season since the 1990's. His 439 total yards and five touchdowns (two rushing) in Saturday’s destruction of Missouri was as pretty a bow as he could’ve put on his regular season.
2. Manti Te’o, LB, Notre Dame.
People keep criticizing this guy on the basis of his statistics. That, I don’t get at all. What’s wrong with 103 tackles? What in the world is wrong with seven interceptions? , the senior linebacker is second in the country in INTs, and has three more of them than any other non-DB in the country. He’s the best player on a team that was carried by its defense into the BCS title game.
3. Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State.
I truly do not believe the Wildcats would have a winning record without this guy. With him, they have an opportunity to go 12-1. He is the definition of an MVP.
